Test prep is an integral part of the college application process and often times a cause for anxiety for students and parents alike. Well, fret not because we help families navigate the test preparation aspect of this daunting process. We offer individual tutoring for both the ACT and SAT.
Our one-on-one (private tutoring) programs provide the highest level of personalized instruction that helps students learn or review concepts, provides test-taking strategies, and builds confidence for the test. We’ve had outstanding results helping our students reach their target scores, gain acceptance into their colleges of choice, and in many cases, receive scholarships. You can see read some of our testimonials on our social media accounts: EDDIFY, 1stChoice Tutors, and Google.
We’ll help your child decide which test is better of him or her to take and maximize scores. Once we’ve established the appropriate test, we then help you establish the right number of prep hours your student needs to achieve his or her goal. The number of hours a student might need varies depending on the student’s: baseline score, learning style, and gap between baseline scores and target scores.
We recommend meeting with students 2 or 3 hours every week (i.e. two 1hr sessions or two 1.5 hour sessions and about 3 days apart ) leading up to the target test date. Whenever possible we prefer our students have at least 8 hours of instruction with us before sitting the exam.

Yes. We only use official test prep materials as produced by each tst maker (SAT and ACT) so that our students can work with the "real thing" from the beginning.
Additionally, we have our own material that we've authored including a full video library of lessons to help solidify our student's understanding of concepts.
You're welcome to pay the whole amount at once or pay as you go.
No. We do not hold our parents and/or children hostage by tying them down to a lengthy tutoring contract.
You are free to come and go as you please. We are happy to say that 99% of our students stay with us!
Yes. If we determine that your child needs extra practice on a particular concept or topic, we assign "skill builders": extra practice worksheets that help the student gain mastery and boost his/her confidence.
No. When it comes to education, it really takes a village. Your child's success is dependent upon four stakeholders: the student, the parent, the student's teacher, and us, the tutors.
When each of these stakeholders 'play' his/her part well, score increases are inevitable.
Our students increase their scores by at least one letter grade when they work with us for at least a semester.
While we don't offer a score increase guarantee, we guarantee that we always play our part in helping each of our students succeed and we've had great success doing so.
Student-tutor relationships are important to us too, so when a student finds a tutor he/she meshes well with a tutor and get great results, everyone wins!
So, we do everything possible to keep the student with the same tutor for as long as the tutor is available.
